Melissa has an extensive musical background and is an active teacher, composer and performer with 20+ years experience. She holds her M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing (Composition) from NYU and her B.A. in both Music Education and Music Composition from Seattle Pacific University and Biola University respectively.​

Currently taking beginning students of all ages. Her studio is located in Puyallup, Washington.
